Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide routine technical support to customers, including direct farm contact and the commercial animal farming industry. Act as a technical resource to sales professionals and customers, interpreting field data and providing feedback concerning housing, transport, equipment, nutrition, and related matters.
  • Value Selling: Identify customer needs and develop those needs by asking questions that uncover implied needs and demonstrating company capabilities by explaining how company products and services match customer needs.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Introduce new solutions and concepts to customers, managing a program of communication to the animal breeding industry through in-house publications and press articles, preparing technical presentations, and demonstrating how products meet client needs.
  • Process Optimization: Develop, monitor, and update written standard operating procedures and process control strategies, supporting other organization functions, such as engineering, manufacturing, or quality control, to identify user and/or design problems.
  • Tools: Coordinate, execute, maintain, and/or improve various administrative sales processes and systems, ensuring an efficient and effective sales administration compliant with policies and regulations.
  • Management Information: Provide insights to management on request or own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments within the area of sales/expertise, based on reporting guidelines, and ensure all information is appropriately stored and updated.
  • Internal Networking: Maintain and build own product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories by taking local and global technical trainings and collaborating with the sales team, product development, and Global Innovation.
  • Projects: Participate in various sales and customer service-related projects in the area and contribute to project results.
