Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Specialist to join our team at Hennes & Mauritz. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation systems, from coordinating with carriers and vendors to monitoring stock deliveries and fill grade targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage outbound control in close cooperation with Transport Coordinators, DC outbound, stores, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Support and educate transport systems users, providing on-site training and support to ensure optimal system utilization.
  • Coordinate and align with all related departments on operational SOPs for new services or initiatives to ensure seamless integration.
  • Monitor and report KPIs, deviating routes that need adjusting with stakeholders in DC and transport operations to optimize performance.
  • Ensure that all transport-related systems (Delcon, RFID, YMS, etc.) work as expected and are used correctly to provide best-in-class service to stores.
  • Monitor H&M transport system integration towards carrier systems to ensure efficient communication and data exchange.
  • Monitor, report, and coordinate transport unit flows throughout the region and/or within assigned markets to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Monitor stock deliveries to be in full, at the correct frequency, and in time; monitor fill grade targets are met to ensure optimal inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in operational transport processes to serve online and stores.
  • Strong understanding of business needs from sales side for online and stores.
  • Solid overview on specifics and capabilities in regional transport operations to serve brand needs.
  • Pronounced transport focus and commercial sense to best serve requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate and co-create with others.
  • Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth.
  • Inclusive and empathetic towards others while encouraging diversity.
  • Ability to understand your impact on others and contribution to the bigger picture.
