Job Description

This exciting opportunity is part of our Smart Healthcare Technologies Research Line, where you will contribute to the development and optimization of novel methods for bioimaging and non-viral transfection. You will design and conduct laboratory experiments, develop methodology, and interpret scientific data to further advance theranostics and cell therapy platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute experimental activities within a technological platform focused on US-based technologies mediated by biological and synthetic acoustic reporters for bioimaging;
• Develop and apply novel US technologies for non-viral transfection methods;
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement advanced technologies for imaging, sensing, and non-viral US transfection;
• Operate in a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with various fabrication and characterization facilities;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• PhD in a scientific discipline, preferably in Physics or Engineering (or related field);
• Research experience in ultrasound imaging, cell biology, or a related scientific area;
• Strong understanding of cancer immunotherapy, immunology, and/or oncology;
• Familiarity with CAR T cell immunology, including NSG/NRG mice, flow cytometry, confocal imaging, cell culture, and next-generation sequencing and omics analysis;
• Molecular biology techniques, including PCR, cloning, maxi, and mini preps;
• Biochemical techniques such as protein expression, protein electrophoresis, and western blots;
• Fluorescence microscopy, confocal laser scanning, and high-resolution microscopy;
