About the Role:
We are seeking a Strategic Purchaser to join our team at Carel Industries s.p.a. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and supply chain management, with a strong focus on negotiation skills and analytical methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate purchasing agreements with suppliers, focusing on prices, delivery terms, and conditions.
- Define supply shares and relevant supply strategies for assigned categories.
- Play a key role in category management, defining tactics and strategies to drive cost reduction and supply chain improvements.
- Propose innovative ideas to reduce product and management costs.
- Collaborate with plants worldwide to share best supply conditions and achieve cost savings.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and implement improvement plans.
- Search for alternative products and suppliers, and qualify new suppliers in accordance with internal processes.
- Visit and audit suppliers with the supplier quality team.
- Coordinate assigned yearly projects.
- Manage price discrepancies between orders and invoices.
- English is a must, and experience in electronic background is a plus.
