About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at HITACHI RAIL STS S.P.A.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effective implementation of technical solutions according to project requirements.
  • Manage technical interface activities with customers and authorities.
  • Communicate project objectives to the project team and monitor technical project activities.
  • Monitor document submission in terms of time, quality, and budget.
  • Implement design and verification processes in line with company procedures.
  • Manage technical criticalities and risks, and ensure their continuous update and evaluation.
  • Ensure proper execution of document management and configuration management processes.
  • Interface with technical definition and construction document delivery during on-site activities.
  • Verify project engineering documents and documents issued by WPLs.
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of technical and commercial activities.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of engineering expertise.
  • Knowledge of railways signalling systems, architecture, and products.
  • Knowledge of ERTMS systems and products.
  • Knowledge of ERTMS and national ATPs on board platforms and functionalities.
  • Project management, planning, and monitoring skills.
  • Interface management and commissioning skills.
  • Project quality assurance and system engineering principles.
Education and Qualifications

Educational background in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology, or equivalent technical background.

Good English proficiency.
