Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead all relevant quality and cross-functional activities, with particular emphasis on process gaps that may lead to customer claims and disruptions. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and driving plant quality activities, including customers and suppliers quality, customer relationships, proactive continuous improvement activities, technical problem-solving leadership, and corrective action activities.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead all relevant quality and cross-functional activities, focusing on process gaps that may lead to customer claims and disruptions.
- Monitor and drive plant quality activities, including customers and suppliers quality, customer relationships, proactive continuous improvement activities, technical problem-solving leadership, and corrective action activities.
- Represent the voice of the customer by cross-functional coordinating plant departments, aiming to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and improve plant quality management systems consistent with customer and IATF 16949 requirements, inclusive of robust management review and auditing processes.
- University bachelor degree - Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- 5 years of experience in a quality manufacturing environment;
- Tier1 automotive component supplier manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge in AIAG core tools: FMEA / PPAP / APQP / MSA / SPC.
- Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 & IATF16949.
- Knowledge of problem solving tools & methods (8D reports, 5 Why).
- Proficient in GD&T.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Thorough understanding of process engineering principles.
- Product launch experience.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, ERP (SAP preferred), PLM & CompliantPro.
- IATF 16949 1st & 2nd Party Auditor Qualification.
- VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Qualification.
- RedX Certified.
