Converting Waste into Resources
At HZI, we take pride in leading the way in waste-to-resource technology. We are not merely waste handlers; we are innovators transforming discarded materials into valuable resources such as energy, heat, hydrogen, and fertilizers.
Role Overview
You will hold the technical oversight for all Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) work packages associated with our Waste-to-Energy projects, serving as the EIC representative within the project. You will provide functional leadership to the designated engineering team for their specific responsibilities. You will be responsible for preparing engineering documentation for both internal stakeholders and external partners. You will engage in negotiations, monitor, and oversee progress with suppliers and the site team during erection and commissioning phases. You will manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) in collaboration with the customer. You will assist the Commissioning & Erection team, which may involve occasional travel to project sites. You can expect to travel approximately 10% of your time to various locations.Required Qualifications
You are a qualified Electrical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in large-scale plant operations. You possess strong project management capabilities. You demonstrate excellent planning, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and negotiation expertise. You are adept at collaborating with remote teams. You are self-driven, proactive, and an effective communicator. You are fluent in both Italian and English.Additional Insights
