Head of International Sales

Job Description:
Telespazio, a joint venture between Leonardo and Thales, is a leading European operator of satellite services and solutions. With a global presence through subsidiaries and international networks, the company operates in key sectors for institutions, private companies, and consumers.
As a key player in the satellite communication market, Telespazio seeks a seasoned professional to drive business growth in international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of establishing and leveraging networks within the European satellite industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing customer portfolios, expanding Telespazio's penetration rate in new markets, and aligning with project management and sales engineering departments to execute coordinated go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute commercial plans for assigned markets
• Accelerate customer acquisition through well-developed sales engagements and successful GTM strategies
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Telespazio services
• Coordinate the offering process and manage relationships with current and potential customers
• Perform market intelligence activities and scouting on new opportunities
Basic Qualifications:
• Passion for sales and business negotiation
• Entrepreneurial mentality
• 8-15 years of Satcom/telecommunications related sales or business development experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BA/BS degree required
• Proven track record of establishing and leveraging a network within the European Satcom industry
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA/MA/MS degree
• Previous expertise on Satcom or TLC business
• Technical background, like in engineering or computer science
