About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team in Palermo. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 5+ talented individuals to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the region.
  • Develop and implement a long-term strategy for the Area, focusing on growth, promotions, advertisement, and operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with top partners in the city.
  • Stay up-to-date with market and competitive developments, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of the team and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fast-paced environments, such as startups, investment banking, top consulting firms, or top tech companies.
  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional teams with 5+ people.
  • Data-driven mentality, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and business judgment.
  • Persuasive communication skills, with the ability to sell value to customers, partners, and the Glovo platform.
  • Strong judgment and assertiveness, with the ability to own up to mistakes and face challenges with an optimistic approach.
  • Curiosity and desire to acquire a deep understanding of new topics.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find elegant solutions to complex challenges.
  • Agility and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
  • Respectful, kind, and fair leadership style, with a strong track record of developing and empowering teams.
  • Excellent English and Italian language skills, with Spanish as a plus.
