About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Expert to join our team at Centric Software. As a key member of our Business Unit, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to onboard new projects and ensure seamless execution.
  • Work closely with business consultants to analyze customer-specific processes and develop tailored solutions.
  • Take ownership of technical aspects, serving as a point of contact for data engineering and data science-related topics.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and customers.
  • Analyze and develop AB test setups, training mathematical models to describe price and promotion effects on purchasing behavior.
  • Ensure model accuracy and develop validation methods to quantify solution impact on clients' businesses.
  • Collaborate with product management to generate ideas and turn them into efficient, well-tested code.
  • Track customer-specific time effort accurately and ensure stable data flow.
  • Interface with customers and external partners to align on data formats and transmission schedules.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Economics.
  • Familiarity with relevant mathematical and statistical topics.
  • Proficiency in libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Statsmodels; PySpark experience a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills and excellent communication skills in English.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, preferably in retail or consumer products.
  • Comfortable analyzing large data sets using SQL, Python, and R, and navigating big data environments.
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders, with the ability to explain complex data science topics in a clear and concise manner.
