Job Title: Application & Project Engineer – Elettrica / Batterie

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application & Project Engineer to join our team at BSim Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a mix of pre-sales, post-sales, and technical engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform calculations for test-cases or sw benchmarks or consulting for electrical motors / networks and batteries with 0D/1D Amesim software and/or Simcenter Speed or Motorsolve.
  • Perform local technical consulting activities upon customers' request, either on-site at BSim or on-site at customer premises.
  • Participate in the offering process to assist the sales team in determining the customer needs.
  • Develop the project by creative technical thinking.
  • Listen to customer needs during project or pre-sales activity and fulfill project tasks.
  • Maintain product knowledge in terms of theory, practice, and use of software systems.
  • Attend the necessary internal training to develop simulation skills.
  • Provide feedback related to software performance.
  • Liaise with the internal team to resolve customer issues that may arise during the engineering activities.
  • Provide necessary reporting to track progress.
Requirements:
  • A degree in mechanical/mechatronic engineering and minimum 2 years' experience of hi-tech project engineering.
  • Experience in modelling electrical and hybrid propulsion systems and components in the field of transportation.
  • Knowledge of electrical motors, inverters, and batteries technologies and mathematical modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of 1D and System Simulation products and applications (Amesim, Matlab/Simulink/Simscape or similar).
  • Able to adapt well to fast-changing environment.
  • Mothertongue Italian.
  • Willing to travel in case of customer requests.
