We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at ALSTOM Gruppe. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for deploying commodities strategy, ensuring project execution in line with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives, and piloting local contractual relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Commodities Strategy Deployment: Develop and implement commodities strategy to meet business needs.
- Project Execution: Ensure project execution aligns with QCD objectives, including cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Supplier Management: Pilot local contractual relationships with suppliers, negotiate cost reduction, and manage claims.
- Commodity Support: Provide commodity support on site, including consolidation of commodity needs, active participation in commodity strategy, and support of Commodity Manager in tender phase.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to resolve problems and apply Alstom Sourcing processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
