With a robust growth trajectory both domestically and internationally, our team operates from various locations, including our state-of-the-art production facility in Cirimido (Como, Italy) and our R&D Center near Milan, alongside offices in Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer to join our mechanical design team.
In this role, you will engage in the design of diverse automatic machinery and collaborate closely with the technical team in Milan to establish new production setups.
Your daily interactions will involve a multidisciplinary team from various countries, necessitating availability for regular travel to different Planet Farms facilities and offices.
Key Responsibilities:- Design mechanical components and machinery with a specific emphasis on food processing engineering.
- Assist in formulating technical specifications for suppliers of components or machinery sourced externally.
- Create functional layouts.
- Oversee supplier timelines.
- High school diploma in technical fields (mechanics).
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD 2D).
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Capacity to perform under pressure.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Italian.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge in hygienic design.
- Experience in welding design.
- Expertise in structural calculations.
Location: Collecchio (PR), with frequent travel to various group locations in northern Italy and occasional trips to other sites.
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time.
