Job Description

The Customer Engagement Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional sales and customer service experiences to Full Compass and FDW customers. This role involves proactively identifying lapsed customers to re-engage and reactivate, leveraging effective strategies to prospect new customers, and qualifying inbound leads.

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Develop and implement plans to re-activate lapsed customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide top-notch customer service, including attentive listening and a positive demeanor over the phone
  • Timely follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Resolve product or service issues through clear communication and solution-focused problem-solving
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and products
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of our company's communication procedures and guidelines
  • Show consistent attendance and a positive attitude when working with colleagues

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service/sales, preferably in the Pro Audio, Video, and Lighting industry
  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to balance quality and quantity of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
