Procurement Specialist

The candidate application data is stored on the career site servers and submitted en-mass to the Workday tenant when the user clicks submit on the last step of the application process.

We make POST requests with the application data to multiple REST end-points, sending the job application back to the Workday tenant. The system clears out or times out after 60 minutes of inactivity for records that were not submitted back to Workday.

As a Buyer for Drawing Parts and Modules, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing of drawing materials for the Machinery Production and After Sales Area. This involves issuing purchasing orders according to company procedures and negotiating the right deals with qualified suppliers.

You will create requests for quote (RFQs) using the SAP tool, maintain up-to-date purchasing data, conduct cost reduction negotiations with suppliers, and prepare purchase orders using SAP. Additionally, you will manage purchasing order confirmations and carry out expediting activities.

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering, and previous experience in the field will be considered a plus. Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Italian and English, both written and verbal, are required. Critical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills are also essential.
