Job Summary

We are seeking a highly innovative and strategic individual to join our team as Senior Manager of Digital and AI Business Innovation. This role focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and innovative digital services to drive forward-thinking projects and innovations within Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends. Disseminate relevant insights to the broader organization.
  • Analyze and understand key business needs within Commercial, Marketing, Training and Development, Business Ops and Medical Affairs organizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities. Align exploration efforts based on the identified needs.
  • Identify opportunities of AI-driven and technology solutions to address key business needs and articulate recommendations based on the potential business impact.
  • Lead and manage AI-driven and technology innovation projects from ideation through implementation. Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with different departments to integrate AI and innovative solutions into existing workflows.
  • Document opportunity pipeline and clearly report and communicate on opportunity assessment progress.
  • Performance monitoring and optimization: monitor the performance of implemented innovations and make adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leveraging digital technologies to impact business functions within a healthcare-related industry.
  • Excellent track record and understanding of digital technology and AI, development and execution of comprehensive digital strategies, incorporating UX practice in projects.
  • Experience designing and building GenAI solutions in a business environment.
  • Strong partnership mindset and ability to build partnerships with internal stakeholders to support projects, and with external stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet internal business goals.
  • Strong understanding of how to develop and articulate a digital strategy, and communicate this strategy internally in a compelling manner.
  • Strong experience leading projects, setting clear milestones and outcomes, communicating on progress and aligning stakeholders towards completion.
  • Fluent English, other languages are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent digital culture and knowledge.
  • Strong innovation mindset and solid understanding of latest trends in AI/GenAI.
  • Strong strategic and consulting mindset, able and willing to advise peers on digital strategy, and proactively make recommendations to optimize plans.
  • Proven experience in healthcare industry, preferably medical devices, or strong experience in complex B2B environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Drive for results and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
