Job Overview

We are seeking a Planning Specialist to join our team in Pignataro, Italy. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing our company's activities to ensure efficient resource allocation, adherence to schedules, and achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of operational strategies and implement plans to improve efficiency and productivity in the low and medium voltage business.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term operational plans, coordinating with various departments to collect data and information necessary for planning.
  • Monitor and analyze progress against established plans, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective solutions.
  • Optimize the use of company resources to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on the progress of planned activities.
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to operational planning.
  • Use planning software and tools to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of plans.
  • Participate in strategy meetings and provide input based on data analysis.
  • Train and support staff in the use of planning tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain clear and constant communication with all levels of the organization, stimulating coordination between functions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience of 2-3 years in a similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain management principles and operational planning.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building effective and collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of resource planning and management software (SAP).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic working environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
