Job Summary

About the Role

  • We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team at Bertrandt AG, a leading solution partner for technology trends in the automotive sector.
  • As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and testing transmission-related functions for automatic transmissions.
  • You will work closely with function developers to discuss software functions as part of test planning, create test specifications, and automate test sequences on HIL systems.
  • Additionally, you will execute software tests on HIL systems, document test results, and analyze and validate test results in cooperation with various departments.
  • Participation in test drives and problem management, including troubleshooting and updating error databases, are also key responsibilities.


Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or master's degree in engineering, physics, or a comparable science (electronics, vehicle technology, mechatronics, computer science).
  • Nice to have professional experience in transmission and vehicle technology.
  • Good tools knowledge (INCA, Vector CANalyzer, IBM DOORS, Jira) and experience in dealing with dSpace HILs are beneficial.
  • Nice to have ISTQB and ASPICE certifications.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • B driving license.
