About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Team Manager to lead our eMobility R&D team in Milan. As a key member of our global R&D organization, you will be responsible for driving the development of our product portfolio and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and guide your team to achieve business targets and drive continuous improvements in operational development
  • Take ownership of developing the team's competence and work processes, and contribute to long-term strategic initiatives
  • Be a positive role model for your team by living our vision, delivering promises, and developing people
  • Living Hitachi's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree in a relevant area, such as electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering or similar
  • Background and understanding of product development in the field of MV/LV electrical infrastructure
  • Experience in power systems and preferably eMobility is considered a merit
  • Leadership skills from line management, project management, from a leading role in an agile setup
  • Strong communication skills, a structured way of working, and a strong will to drive and implement improvements and change transformations
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
