Job Opportunity: Senior Electric Motor Engineer - Rotating Electric Machines

Our client, a leading international company in the production of rotating electric machines, is seeking a Senior Electric Motor Engineer to join its EMEA Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new product variants and strengthening the company's market position in the agriculture, residential, solar, and industrial sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Realize drawings and technical documentation for rotating electric machines.
  • Propose ideas for new developments and product modifications to improve the competitiveness of our products.
  • Define technical solutions on new developments or product modifications along with the Project Team.
  • Manage design changes and new developments from a technical perspective.
  • Understand the product system and the interactions between the components.
  • Support Manufacturing, Sales, and Service/Quality departments on product-specific issues.
  • Coordinate with Electric Engineering Global organization concerning motor design.
  • Lead analysis of products from main competitors.
  • Verify conformity to standards, Directives, or legal requirements of our products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Over 5 years of experience in electric motor design in Engineering or R&D Department.
  • Capacity to calculate and specify electric motor windings.
  • Passion and skills for technical matters and product design.
  • Precision, reliability, and organization skills.
  • Good communication and team building skills.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of the basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Work Location: Province of Vicenza. 5 smart working days per month.
