As a key member of our team, the Housekeeping Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of room attendants, organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities. They should be able to effectively respond to customer complaints and special requests, monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, check rooms and common areas for tidiness, schedule shifts, and arrange for replacements in cases of absence. Additionally, they will motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar position. They should be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, and have hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations. Furthermore, they should be able to use industrial cleaning equipment and products efficiently. The ability to handle physical demands is also essential.
