About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on mainframe technology solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, as well as strong technical industry-related experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Assisting sales teams in technically qualifying solutions and their benefits to customers and/or partners">
  • Working closely with account teams to understand customer needs and architect solutions that meet them">
  • Building relationships across customers' IT silos to understand their infrastructure, challenges, and the potential technical impact of planned projects">
  • Maintaining deep technical knowledge of Broadcom's mainframe products and providing technical specifications and requirements documentation">
  • Effectively presenting and positioning the benefits of Broadcom's solutions to support clients' technical and functional requirements">
  • Providing technical leadership and oversight during trials, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and complex demos">
  • Clearly communicating technical requirements and ensuring they meet client expectations">
  • Fostering and building relationships with customers and partners to develop references">
  • Assisting account teams in achieving financial targets through the opportunity planning process">
  • Ensuring long-term stability and sustainability of the book-of-business">
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to effectively pursue opportunities">
  • Providing feedback to product management based on client experiences to facilitate product improvements">
  • Mastery internal processes and tools for proposal development, solution architecture, and need-based sales methodology">
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of these processes">
  • Collaborating with virtual teams and effectively leading them">
  • Working independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality recommendations using relevant best practices">
  • Mentoring and sharing lessons learned with peers and colleagues">
  • Demonstrating effective time management and proficiency in navigating Broadcom's internal processes and systems">

Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for mainframe technology and customer engagement. To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or a related field">
  • Typically 5 or more years of detailed technical industry-related experience, particularly with mainframes">
  • Proven experience in customer-focused roles with a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges">
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time">
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to work independently">
  • Fluency in English and local language">
