About the Role

This position serves as a key contributor in the Communications Department, focusing on event management and communication. The primary function is to manage Werfen’s participation in scientific congresses, boosting awareness for the company and its products, sales, and brand positioning.

The role is responsible for ensuring correct brand exposure during events, in accordance with Werfen’s Brand & Visual Identity Guidelines. Key accountabilities include managing contract terms, handling logistics, budgeting, negotiating with sub-contractors, selecting venues, developing event materials, editing communication to clients, and preparing expenditure reports.

The position also supports EEMEA Distributors in maintaining correct brand positioning and organizes EEMEA main events with partners and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports brand and institutional communication activities, internal and external, according to the Communication Manager’s needs.
  • Manages company events and company participation in third-party congresses, in compliance with ECM regulation and Transparency Law obligations.
  • Negotiates contract terms with event providers, ensuring best positioning and brand exposure within allocated budgets.
  • Manages external agencies/suppliers to develop event materials, gadgets, and trade show booth layout/structure according to Werfen’s Brand & Visual Identity Guidelines.
  • Edits events’ direct mailing content, develops social media content, and provides information to external providers for Educational Grants.
  • Supports the organization of company main direct events, managing speakers and attendees’ engagement and hospitality.
  • Updates company tools/platforms relating to events (BrightCove, Transparency Tool, SharePoint Event Calendar, Good Morning EEMEA, etc.).
  • Administers the processing of invoices.
  • Supports cross-functional projects according to area of competence.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business communications, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business communications.

Additional Skills/Knowledge

  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in software such as SAP, DEM, Microsoft Office Suite, and CMS.
