EHS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to join our team at Imerys, a leading global supplier of mineral-based specialty solutions. As an EHS Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

• Develop and Implement Safety Policies and Procedures: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate policies.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Inspections: Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Manage EHS Programs and Training: Develop and implement EHS training programs to ensure employees are aware of and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with site management, employees, and contractors to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

• Education and Experience: Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, environmental science) and at least 2 years of experience in EHS.
• Certifications and Skills: Certification in HSE Management Systems and Sustainable Development, as well as proficiency in IT tools and languages (English and Italian).
• Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-driven, and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
