We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at Datacenter People Limited. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and commissioning of our data centers across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all administrative procedures associated with the project, including permits and classified installations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, design offices, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure exchanges with hyperscalers and key accounts to define project requirements.
  • Lead engineering teams during design phases and act as the interface between operations and design teams.
  • Participate in procurement processes for the construction phase and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Ensure daily compliance with safety regulations in work areas and manage service providers with direct contractual links.
  • Ensure exchanges and reporting with construction and commissioning teams throughout the project.
  • Manage commissioning operations in relation to commissioning agents, hyperscalers, and key accounts.
  • Prepare future site operating teams to take over the site upon completion.
  • Conduct necessary meetings for project management and technical follow-up with project managers and companies.
  • Report in English to final clients and document projects for proper handover of documentation.
  • Ensure budgetary follow-up of the project in collaboration with project management and finance departments.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in electrical/climate engineering or generalist field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Italian native speaker with experience working in English-speaking environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of the market and data center players.
  • Mastery of HVAC, CFo, CFa, Safety, Security, BMS, Structural, and Finishing work of the data center.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and collaboratively.
  • High sensitivity to service continuity and security aspects.
  • Experience in project management in occupied sites.
  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Proven skills in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
