Job Title: Automation Systems Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Developer to join our team at Danieli Automation S.p.A. in Buttrio, Italy.

Danieli Automation is a leading manufacturer of plants and machines for producing metals, with over 40 years of experience focused on metals worldwide. We provide technological solutions for production management, process and equipment control, advanced instrumentation, and state-of-the-art electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Develop software for process optimization control systems, focusing on sectors such as software development for visual applications, real-time data acquisition, closed-loop control, and setup optimization.
  • Process Modelling: Create models of processes to optimize their performance and efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Preferably a Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science Engineering; or a Degree in Mechanical, Material, or Management Engineering with a strong programming background.
  • Languages: Good knowledge of spoken and written English (B1 at least).
  • Technical Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer with a good understanding of Object-Oriented principles; experience with source version control and project management systems like Microsoft DevOps; knowledge of manufacturing processes and the metal industry.

Estimated Salary Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
