As a Senior Environmental Health Specialist at Amazon Italia Transport Srl, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in workplace health and safety. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of safety and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage health and safety programs, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to achieve safety-related goals.
  • Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make informed safety decisions.
  • Provide guidance and support for health and safety projects and policies.
  • Drive programs to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon.
  • Travel within the region to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
About the Team

The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team at Amazon Italia Transport Srl is responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees across our sites. We work closely with managers, associates, and local governments to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and legal regulations.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and ASPP or RSPP certification.
  • Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics.
  • Relevant experience managing projects and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Italian.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
  • Relevant experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people management.
