Job Description

This role involves conducting threat research, investigating malicious activities, and reporting findings to our clients. You will be responsible for detecting and tracking regional and industry-focused threats, analyzing shifts in tactics over time, and creating reports based on your research. Additionally, you will assist in the development of client requests for intelligence (RFIs) and support the fulfillment of client requirements.


Responsibilities:
  • Detect and investigate regional and industry-focused malicious cyber activities.
  • Track and report shifts in tactics over time.
  • Create reports in English based on research discoveries.
  • Support in the development of client RFIs.
  • Fulfill client intelligence requirements.
  • Identify new datasets to ingest and propose analytics improvements.
  • Work with the Intelligence Operations team to deploy detection mechanisms.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Security Studies, or a related field.
  • 4 additional years of experience in a similar role as an alternative qualification.
  • 3 years of experience in Information Security, particularly Threat Intelligence.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting technical threat analysis and research.
  • Experience with structured analytical techniques, the intelligence cycle, and intelligence writing.
  • Knowledge of indicators of specific threat actors and their cross-platform tactics.
  • Ability to create detection rules and perform simple assessments of malicious files.

Benefits

QuoIntelligence offers a transparent compensation framework. For this job and location, the base salary is 46,645.45€. Additional benefits include working from anywhere in Italy, 26 days of paid time off, and yearly global meetups.


Compensation Details

Since December 2022, we have been operating a transparent compensation framework. This allows us to offer competitive salaries based on market standards. For this role, the estimated annual salary is 46,645.45€.
