Are you passionate about technical challenges and looking for a dynamic environment to grow? Atlas Copco Group is seeking a talented Simulation Engineer to join its team. As a leading designer and manufacturer of customized chillers and thermoregulation units, we offer a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking innovations in the field of cooling systems.
In this role, you will introduce innovative concepts and future technologies that improve productivity for customers. You will collaborate with other engineering experts and lead specific technology projects, monitoring project budget and timeline. Your responsibilities will include extensive research, calculations, and modeling on cooling products, components, or subsystems.
You will think up innovative concepts to improve product design and reduce carbon impact. Additionally, you will develop expertise in new technology domains and act as an expert/consultant in your field internally and externally. You will provide training to share and develop competences.
This position requires a Master of Engineering Science or Master of Science degree or equivalent experience. A Ph.D. in this domain is an advantage. You should have a technical background, preferably in engineering, supported by strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
A high interest in technology (mechanical, electrical, controls, thermodynamics, chemical, etc.) is essential. Basic Matlab knowledge is a plus, as well as the ability to interpret FEA/CFD results. Broad knowledge of thermodynamics engineering and experience in the cooling field are pluses.
The ideal candidate can work in an international, intercultural environment and has good communication skills and English proficiency. If you are a result-driven, effective, and efficient team player with a problem-solving mindset and creativity, we encourage you to apply.
