Inkjet Application Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to engage in application activities focused on the development and deployment of KLA Inkjet tools within client environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct printing tests utilizing KLA inkjet machinery.
- Lead the development and support of innovative applications for inkjet printing in the electronics sector.
- Prepare data, develop printing recipes, and manage machine setup and operation.
- Formulate standard operating procedures for regular machine use in production, along with tailored recipes for unique customer requirements.
- Analyze specific materials (inks, substrates, etc.) and processes (surface preparation, curing, etc.) pertinent to inkjet applications.
- Perform laboratory experiments and tests, conduct data analysis, and compile technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, assess tool performance, and devise exceptional solutions to fulfill client needs.
- Execute printing tests for new clients on various materials and applications.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Sciences (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry) or Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAM/CAD systems and graphic software.
- Competence in advanced data analysis using tools such as Excel, MATLAB, or similar.
- Understanding of PCB and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Relevant experience in the PCB and/or semiconductor industry is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel (minimum of 4 trips per year).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities – capable of establishing and maintaining effective communication with KLA subsidiaries and clients.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
Minimum Requirements:
A Master's Degree with 1 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience.
