We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Maintenance Contract Coordinator to join our team at Profile Middle East LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising fabrication maintenance contractors to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise fabrication maintenance contractors to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company rules and regulations.
- Optimize all field activities and relevant costs to ensure the best achievable savings while staying on schedule and budget.
- Collect and organize yearly planned activities and corrective actions linked to fabrication maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and follow up on activities progress to ensure the best strategy and schedule is applied to all fabrication maintenance contractors' work.
- Assist and support the Head of Maintenance and Contract Administrator on the application of the best cost-wise strategy by matching all schedule and quality targets.
- Propose campaigns by zonal approach where feasible.
- Supervise and follow up on onsite fabrication maintenance contractors' activities in terms of QAQC and accounting.
- Liaise with Inspection Department for reviewing welding books and associated Inspection Test Plans when related to like-for-like replacement.
- Ensure that fabrication maintenance contractors work in accordance with company procedures and propose any improvements if technically justified.
- Suggest improvements and requests modifications where relevant.
- Track the progress of fabrication maintenance contractors in a proper manner.
- Jointly with the Company CMIMS Engineer, place notifications, work orders, and reservations related to fabrication maintenance activities.
- 5 to 10 years' experience/expertise in a similar position and/or oil and gas production installations.
- A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations, and a base knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
- Proactive, pride in work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others.
- Physical ability to work according to the Italian applicable regulation for the job employment contract.
- Certified to work in confined space when requested.
- Working language: English and Italian both written and spoken.
- Fabrication Maintenance Contract Coordinator should have a sufficient knowledge and experience in similar facilities including, in their own area of competence:
- Pressure vessels like drums, columns, heat exchangers, filters, piping, lifting equipment, etc.
- Experience in environment/facilities exposed to H2S and SO2.
- The technology used in oil/gas/chemical industry.
- Knowledge of metallic materials and metallurgy used in Oil and Gas field or similar installations.
- Knowledge of scaffolding installation, use, and dismounting methods and applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of civil engineering/Requests for Modification process and follow-up.
- Knowledge of additional tools (e.g. MySafety or Sinergy developed by Company) can be considered a plus.
- Advanced University Degree (economics or engineering preferred) or equivalent.
- Proven ability of communication.
- Perfectly competent and independent in their field, they must show common sense and organizational ability.
- Able to work in a team.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive change with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional knowledge of English language and Italian required.
- ERP and e-sourcing tools background (ideally SAP) required.
