Certification Engineer - Standards Expert

This position reports to CoE - Leader for Certification engineering and Standardization.

As a Certification Engineer - Standards Expert, you will lead the certification and approval process for new LV Breaker products and maintain their validity, ensuring compliance with relevant international and national standards. You will work as part of the global team for Certification Engineering and Standardization in Smart Power.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and evidence for certification submissions
  2. Staying informed about specific certification requirements in target markets and ensuring products meet those standards
  3. Working closely with regulatory bodies and certification agencies to obtain approvals for market entry
  4. Managing the renewal process for existing certificates, proactively addressing any changes in standards or regulations
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry standards and assessing the impact of new standards on existing products. Actively participating as a representative in standard committees such as IEC
