Palmer Johnson is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Pisa, Italy. Type: Part-Time | Experience: Mid-senior level. Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our procurement strategy and implement policies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate organisational change management skills and experience.
  • Implement procurement strategy and policies to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Forecast procurement needs and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Create and implement KPIs to measure procurement performance.
  • Negotiate contract terms with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
  • Streamline procurement processes and systems to improve efficiency.
  • Develop procedures for the management of purchase contracts.
  • Direct and coordinate the purchasing department staff.
  • Ensure that materials arrive on time and at a price that supports the company's objectives.
  • Maintain records of goods and services ordered and received.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Purchaser.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Palmer Johnson offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
