Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Architect to join our team at Vontier Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the next generation software for our retail and commercial fueling operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, product managers, and innovation teams to model and design software solutions.
  • Translate product management ideas into technical tasks for the development team.
  • Perform regular code reviews to ensure design quality.
  • Support and coach the development team.
  • Reduce technical debt of existing products.
  • Participate in governance committees to ensure product convergence with defined architecture.
Requirements
  • Consistent industry experience.
  • Solid experience in architecture roles.
  • Designing and implementing fully automated CI/CD processes using DevOps tools.
  • Good expertise in cloud computing technologies, especially AWS Cloud services.
  • Good knowledge of big data handling and monitoring ecosystems.
  • Experience with microservices and converting monoliths to microservices.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
