Job Description Summary

At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business, we've been reimagining the power of flight for over 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production, and maintenance of components and systems for both civil and military aviation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Quality Management System Operations in line with best Industry Standards and Regulatory requirements, driving an operating system based on Flight Deck and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Flight Safety Team to lead Safety Risk management and promote the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Develop and execute an SMS promotion plan and spread a Just Culture and Open reporting around flight Safety.
  • Collaborate with all functions in driving interface risk management control, such as Customers and Suppliers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Strong and significant experience in quality and extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sector.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment and proven ability to influence and build consensus among multiple functions.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems and auditing methodologies, as well as the main Airworthiness rules and regulations.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
