Senior Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Scientist to join our team at Lilly. As a key member of our Parenteral Quality Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight to ensure the highest standards of quality and sterility assurance in our parenteral manufacturing operations.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with global quality standards and regulations, including cGMP guidelines.
• Sterility Assurance: Develop and implement sterility assurance programs to ensure the quality and safety of our parenteral products.
• Quality System Oversight: Provide oversight and guidance to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of our quality management system.
• Contract Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support and guidance to our contract manufacturers to ensure compliance with our quality standards and regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance our quality and sterility assurance capabilities.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Pharmacy, or Chemistry, or PhD in Microbiology.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in technical and quality functions within a parenteral manufacturing plant, ideally both in parenteral products and dry products.
• Skills: Strong technical, quality, and leadership skills, with experience in sterility assurance, quality system implementation, and contract manufacturing support.
