Job Title: Senior Project Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Developer to join our Development team in Italy.

As a Senior Project Developer, you will play a key role in developing Statkraft's business in Italy, driving commercial growth, profitability, and strategic direction. This position requires regular travel within Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the scouting and originating of new projects, ensuring technical due diligence and land and legal activities are completed in line with SK standards.
  • Manage the development process for secured projects, from origination to Ready to Build (RtB) status.
  • Coordinate the development of the Statkraft project portfolio, interacting with supporting departments and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, public authorities, landowners, and external advisors.
  • Drive project progress by coordinating work-streams with internal departments and support functions.
  • Ensure economic viability of projects and manage development budget and costs.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of local market legislation, regulations, and support schemes.
Requirements:
  • Development: Deep understanding of the Italian development process, including site-related activities, interconnection, permitting, and business development costs.
  • Management: Solid Project Management skills and experience.
  • Energy Markets: Knowledge of the electricity market in Italy, including merchant, PPA, and grid connection processes.
  • PV/WIND/Storage Technology: Demonstrated deep knowledge of solar/wind/storage technology and main equipment costs.
  • Corporate Environment: Fully accustomed to working within an international corporate environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English.
