About the Team
The Asset Finance division at Jobs for Humanity offers a comprehensive, integrated solution designed to operate on a unified database, ensuring scalability across a diverse range of asset finance operations and activities.
What You Will Be Doing
The role of Business Consultant involves the typical responsibilities associated with a highly skilled consultant, complemented by a solid technical background. You will collaborate closely with clients, development teams, and consulting groups to deliver tailored implementations and projects that address the specific needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing Asset Finance solutions at client locations
- Evaluating client requirements and configuring systems to meet those needs, identifying gaps, and guiding the implementation process
- Overseeing data onboarding, conversion, and reconciliation
- Ensuring that the Asset Finance process aligns with the entire contract lifecycle
- Engaging with all aspects of the client’s operations, from origination to contract management, accounting, collections, asset management, and contract conclusion
- Training client personnel
- Addressing relevant IT concerns
- Collaborating with the development team to specify requirements, gather information, or respond to specific inquiries to meet market or client demands
- Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary (potentially over 70%)
- Communicating effectively with all organizational levels, from users to client executives
- Providing second-level support as part of the combined Professional/Customer Service team
- Managing project challenges through to resolution
The Candidate Must Also...
- Navigate situations perceived as crises, steering towards positive outcomes
- Manage client expectations, delivering updates and plans in a manner that secures client support and controls situations
- Collaborate with fellow consultants in a supportive and cooperative manner
- Be a hands-on consultant who actively engages in tasks rather than merely overseeing
- Work independently while recognizing when to seek assistance
- Adapt work hours to fulfill consulting responsibilities, which may occasionally require working outside standard business hours
Business Knowledge
The ideal candidate will possess experience in:
- The leasing, retail banking, or lending sectors
- Direct competitors such as IDS, Alfa, etc., implementing respective solutions
- Implementation consulting from a broader financial services background
- Working or consulting for potential clients in the leasing and lending sectors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Asset Finance solutions
- Proficiency in SQL and XML is advantageous
- Accounting qualifications or experience in the leasing or lending sectors
- IT skills, particularly in database management and report writing tools such as Crystal Reports
