Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Jointing Superintendent to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a Jointing Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing multiple teams of jointers working on specific offshore and onshore sites, nationally and internationally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, method statements, and other documentation necessary to carry out works on site in collaboration with the Installation Engineering team.
  • Coordinate and supervise multiple teams of jointers to ensure timely and high-quality installation of accessories required by contracts.
  • Optimize resource allocation and tool management for specific sites to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct site supervision, ensuring compliance with internal rules and procedures, and managing resources, technical aspects, logistics, and HSE management.
  • Coordinate helpers (subcontractors) as required and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
  • Perform and coordinate sheath testing on cables as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to guide a team to achieve set targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and subcontractors.
  • Problem-solving and target-oriented approach, with ability to manage priorities in coordination with management.
  • Fast learning and self-commitment attitude.
  • Proficiency in basic and common software tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Internet use.
  • Fluent English written and spoken communication skills.
  • Availability for frequent trips, including domestic and international travel to offshore sites.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes.
  • Valid driving license.
