About the Role

As a Java Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic SaaS company that values growth, innovation, and customer success. You will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and robust software solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies and modern methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimization Techniques Specialist: Provide management and cross-team consultancy on optimization techniques, ensuring efficiency, robustness, and scalability.
  • Operations Research Algorithms Expert: Learn, document, improve, and maintain Operations Research algorithms, focusing on efficiency, robustness, flexibility, and scalability.
  • Software Component Designer: Design and integrate software components, ensuring seamless collaboration and data exchange.
  • Backend Framework Developer: Develop advanced backend frameworks, enabling scalable and modular architectures.
  • Software Framework Modernizer: Contribute to software frameworks modernization, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Emerging Technology Investigator: Investigate emerging technologies to be used internally, promoting software evolution and innovation.

Requirements and Skills

  • 4/5 years of experience as Backend Software Developer or equivalent tech stack knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or related subjects.
  • Operations Research algorithms expertise.
  • Advanced Java and JavaEE framework knowledge.
  • Ability to write robust, testable, and reusable code.
  • Experience in scalable and modular architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AWS).
  • Basic SQL and NOSQL databases knowledge.
  • Intermediate/upper intermediate English (B2).
  • Growth-oriented mindset to fit in a stimulating environment and tackle daily challenges.
  • Version Control tools knowledge (e.g., Git).
  • Cloud concepts knowledge (e.g., containers, cloud deployment strategies).

Nice to have skills

  • XML/XSD/XSL/JSON knowledge.
  • Maven knowledge.
  • REST/SOAP services experience.
  • Web-technologies experience.
  • EDD (Event-Driven Development) knowledge.
  • Message broker platforms knowledge (e.g., ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka).
