Job Overview

Westpole is seeking a highly skilled Chief Architect to lead the strategic architectural direction of our WESTPOLE Software Platform. As a key member of our Product Development Team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop business cases and run proof-of-concepts for early market adoption.
  • Develop and maintain multi-horizon roadmaps that align with our company's business strategy.
  • Support development teams in driving business solutions that balance technology direction with cost-effective, stable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Engage in hands-on prototyping and proof-of-concept work related to architecture, including evaluation of new technologies.
  • Provide oversight for key enterprise initiatives to ensure alignment with technology strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • At least three years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, JSON, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with design patterns, software architectures, and non-functional requirements implementation.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, event and API communication, and debugging distributed systems.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, release management tools, and containerization technologies.
