Job Description

Logical Job, a leading HR consulting firm specializing in human capital development, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Product Engineer to join our team. We are a company that designs and manufactures gas turbines for industrial and aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and qualify new components according to customer specifications.
  • Improve critical industrialized parts.
  • Define process data sheets for parts in development.
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to processes and materials.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to conduct failure analysis, identify the root cause, and develop permanent and efficient solutions.
  • Design and conduct tests, simulations, and production experiments to gain a fundamental understanding and resolve material-related issues.
  • Support the process engineering department in analyzing scrap and monitoring production.
  • Participate actively in recurring calls with clients regarding parts in development or critical industrialized products (technical and qualitative discussions).
  • Support the planning department in creating Gantt charts for parts in development.
  • Work within the project's budget and timeline.
  • Provide support to the quality and purchasing departments in qualifying relevant suppliers on a technical level.
  • Support the quality department in applying defined procedures and rules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the investment casting process (super alloy) with strong engineering skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of metallurgy, including experience with a wide range of metals and alloys, physical and chemical metallurgy, material processing (fusion, hot/cold working, thermal treatment) and their impact on material properties and usage.
  • Technical skills in developing new products.
  • Ability to interpret designs and technical specifications.
  • Experience in creating process sheets and qualification packages.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of Office and MS Project.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage projects autonomously.
  • Good relational skills and ability to work in a team with various company functions.
