Engineering Manager for Port and Maritime Projects

Cavotec is a leading provider of connection and electrification solutions for the decarbonization of ports and industrial applications. As a Senior Services Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the mechanical engineering aspects of retrofit projects for SRU and MCR systems.
Key responsibilities include ensuring design modifications meet functional criteria, executing projects according to contract technical specifications, and delivering safe and quality products. You will also support sales teams with technical specifications and preliminary designs.
The role involves providing design and re-engineering capabilities, revising drawings and bills of material, defining reliable technical solutions, creating detailed drawings or implementing changes to existing designs, and selecting proper components according to manufacturer's instructions.
You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure work is performed according to requirements and time schedules. Additionally, you will provide mechanical technical inputs to sales teams and review mechanical system technical proposals based on customer specifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design and/or supervision of retrofit works, a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent background, and engineering knowledge on ports and maritime requirements and regulations.
