Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled General Ledger and Accounts Payable Manager to perform various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the local books of accounts generating the financial statements in compliance with local statutory requirements and group guidelines.
  • Collect and maintain the analyses required for the auditors.
  • Enforce the internal controls and procedures required to safeguard the company assets and business ethics.
  • Evaluate, analyze and support the Team during the annual closure with the financial statements closure of costs and reopening for the following year.
  • Utilize Group accounting procedures for suppliers master data and ledgers management, cost allocation and business accounting reconciliation.
  • Supports the GL&AP coordinator in some fiscal activities.
  • Accounting posting and reconciliations of all expenses related to employees: - company credit cards; - travel expenses reports.
  • Administrative activities: - management of accounting master data; - shared email boxes and pec.
  • Support and analysis for reconciliations of all payroll accounts.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a diploma or graduate studies in economics with two to five years related experience. You should possess analytical skills, ability to work routine, speed of learning procedures, and ability to work in teams. Good knowledge of general ledger topics and English language is also essential. Computer skills, including Accounting, Database, Excel, Word Processing, and Sap knowledge, are a plus.
