About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Efficiency Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the Manufacturing Excellence Regional team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence within the manufacturing plant.

The selected candidate will lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will work closely with the Plant Manager and site leadership team to implement lean manufacturing practices, promote technological innovations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across production lines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with the Plant Manager: Work closely with the Plant Manager to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and align Manufacturing Excellence pillar activities with business goals.\
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to monitor production performance, identify trends, and regularly report key performance indicators (KPIs) to the plant leadership team and corporate organization.\
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead the development and execution of continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, eliminate waste, and optimize production processes.\
  • Training and Development: Lead and support the training and certification of employees at all levels on manufacturing techniques, best practices, and problem-solving methods.\
  • Project Management: Oversee and lead projects related to manufacturing excellence, ensuring timely execution within budget.\
  • Safety and Compliance: Foster a safe working environment and support company safety programs to reduce incidents and injuries.\

Qualifications

  • Experience Required: At least 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of implementing manufacturing excellence initiatives.\
  • Skillset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.\
  • Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.\
