Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient warehouse layouts and internal logistics routines, optimizing inventory structure, and improving inventory turns to minimize operational costs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective warehouse management systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Leverage your knowledge of lean production principles and operational excellence methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor direct and indirect subordinates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 6-8 years of experience in warehouse and logistics planning.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution.
  • Knowledge of SAP, particularly in MM and PP modules.
  • Experience with lean production, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
