Art Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to join our team at We Are Social. As a key member of our Creative and Editorial department, you will be responsible for ensuring and evolving our clients' visual identity across all types of content that we conceive, create, and manage for them on all social media channels.

Role Overview

The Art Director will report to the Art Supervisor or Creative Director and will be responsible for supporting the Design and Creative team in creating content across all media channels. This role is a hands-on, creative position that requires a strong visual sense and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative concepts, including visual direction and design execution
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Client Service teams to ensure alignment and quality control
  • Study and develop visual identity and brand guidelines for reference clients
  • Participate in defining and developing editorial strategy in terms of languages and visual formats
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the industry

Requirements

  • Degree in art direction, graphic design, or equivalent fields
  • 1-3 years of experience in creative agencies
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work in extended and complex teams
  • Competence and mastery across different media, formats, tools, and techniques of visual communication
  • High affinity and passion for social media
