About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled BOM Specialist to join our team at Saur EUROPE. As a BOM Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and updating Bills of Materials for new products and revisions of existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure Bills of Materials are accurate and complete.
- Monitor and manage changes to Bills of Materials, ensuring all modifications are properly documented.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure required materials are available on time for production.
- Ensure Bills of Materials are integrated into the company's ERP systems and are accessible to all relevant departments.
- Verify Bill of Materials compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to Bills of Materials in collaboration with various departments.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members regarding the use and management of Bills of Materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in BOM management in an industrial production environment.
- Knowledge of ERP and CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Effective and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changes in production priorities.
