Algorithm Developer

Alpinestars, a leading global performance motorsports apparel, protection and footwear manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Algorithm Developer to join its R&D Department. As part of the Electronics Department, this individual will be responsible for developing algorithms for crash detection and wearable sensors use (IoT, machine learning). Key responsibilities include implementing developed algorithms into a model-based structure (Matlab/Simulink), implementing, archiving, and classifying data acquired from the field, and algorithm validation and report analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronic/Mechatronic/Biomedical/Automation Engineering (math or statistic graduates may be considered) and 3-5 years of digital data management experience. Knowledge of design and development of digital control systems, experience in signal processing and data treatment, good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence techniques (Machine Learning, Neural Networks), and experience in digital electronic development are essential. Additionally, good teamwork approach/mentality, passion, and innovation are required.
