Senior Project Controller

We are seeking a skilled Regional Senior Projects Controller to join our PowerLink Finance team in Milano. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all controlling activities related to assigned projects, working closely with Project Managers and the Projects Controlling Manager.

The successful candidate will manage the following key duties and responsibilities:

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deployment and maintenance of detailed project budgets in cooperation with Project Managers
  • Periodic analysis and explanation of financial performance of projects (P&L and Cash profile)
  • Monthly updates of project budgets for financial closure and forecasting
  • Coordination of responses to external auditors
  • Support to Project Managers in preparation of variation orders requests to customers
  • Preparation of invoices to customers and check of cash collections
  • Coordination of activities related to monthly closure of legal entity

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • Graduation in Economics, Accounting or Management Engineering
  • Knowledge of SAP, particularly FI/CO/PS modules
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Ppt.)
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Experience and soft skills:

  • At least 3-4 years as Business Controller, preferably within a project business company (EPCI) or experience in Audit Companies supporting Clients project-oriented
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate proactively and autonomously with focus on details
  • Flexibility and ability to work within a team, under pressure and with several deadlines
